On November 13, 2024, an online meeting of Working Group No. 1 "Administrative Procedures" was held within the framework of cooperation between the EUSDR (European Union Strategy for Danube Region) priority areas - 1A "Inland Navigation" and 11 "Security", which discussed issues related to the revision of control procedures using DAVID form templates and the use of the IBISweb database to simplify and unify administrative procedures in Danube navigation. The Head of the River Information Service of the State Enterprise "Ukrvodshlyakh" Captain Tykhonov Illya provided information on the start of the implementation of the project for the development of a river information service on the Ukrainian section of the Danube River "UkrRIS-Danube". This project provides, in particular, tasks to ensure the management of corridors for uninterrupted cross-border operations, including in cooperation with customs, border and other authorities related to cross-border navigation. Tykhonov Illya also informed the participants about the creation of a joint working group with the participation of representatives of the UkrRIS-Danube project and the European RIS-COMEX2 project, the purpose of which is to facilitate navigation on the Danube River through the management of water transport corridors and the implementation of seamless cross-border operations based on unified information provided through RIS systems, which will be developed within the framework of the UkrRIS-Danube project.
