On July, 16-th, 2025, SE “UKRVODSHLIAH” organized and held two events within the framework of the Grant Agreement for the implementation of the “UkrRIS-Danube” project (Project). The events were attended by representatives of all Project parties: SE “UKRVODSHLYAKH”, SE “ Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority”, State Hydrographic Service of Ukraine, PrJSC “Ukrainian Danube Shipping Company”, the Dutch company “Technolution B.V.”, european associated partners - the Danube Commission and the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management of the Netherlands, as well as the main beneficiary of the Project - the Ministry of Community and Territorial Development of Ukraine. The first event - the Project Kick-off event was held immediately after all parties signed the Consortium Agreement on participation in the Project. At this event the Project Management Team provided detailed information on the results of the Grant Agreement stages implementation at the time of the meeting. All parties to the Project provided information on the planned specific actions for the implementation of the Project tasks, as well as proposals for practical interaction between the parties to the Grant Agreement. Following the results of the Kick-off event, proposals were prepared for the Project Steering Committee to approve the results of the already completed Project implementation activities and possible adjustments to the terms for the implementation of certain tasks. The European partners highly appreciated the activities of the Project Management Team and all Project participants in the practical implementation of the Project. In particular, they noted that in conditions of martial law and constant military risks, it was extremely difficult for Ukrainian participants to achieve such results. The second event was the Project Steering Committee Meeting. The Project Steering Committee includes authorized representatives of all parties of the Grant Agreement. At this meeting, the results of the Steering Committee activities after signing the Grant Agreement for the implementation of the Project were summarized. The members of the Project Steering Committee approved the results of the Project Kick-off event. Proposals of the Steering Committee to the European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency (CINEA) were prepared regarding the actual status of the implementation of the Project stages and adjustments to the terms for the implementation of certain Project implementation tasks related to changes in national legislation, martial law conditions and other objective reasons. The next meeting of the Steering Committee is scheduled for middle of October this year.
