Screening is the first formal stage of the negotiation process on the path to Ukraine's accession to the European Union. The purpose of this stage is to assess the extent to which Ukrainian legislation meets European standards and identify areas that need to be improved. The meeting was held in a mixed format - an official delegation of the Ministry of Community and Territorial Development of Ukraine in the EU building in Brussels (Kingdom of Belgium) and in an online format for experts. On June 27-th, issues of maritime and inland water transport were discussed, including the development of the river information services. The Ukrainian side reported on the current state of implementation and prospects for the development of the “UkrRIS-Danube” project. The information on the development of the RIS was approved by European experts.
