June 04-th, 2025, The Permanent Working Group on Information Technology of the European Committee for Drawing up Standards in the field of Inland Navigation (CESNI/TI) conducted an online training on the use of the GitHub web-service (a service designed for hosting projects and joint software development). The training focused on the use of GitHub to manage XSD and WSDL files during the implementation of the European standard ES-RIS for the introduction of procedures and standards for ERI (Electronic Ship Reporting International) and the formation of NtS (Notices to Skippers). The training was attended by members of the temporary working groups of CESNI/TI, representatives of all Danube countries. The Ukrainian side was represented by technical specialists of the State Educational Service “UKRVODSHLIAH”. The materials of this training and subsequent trainings that CESNI/TI planned to conduct in the future for the in-depth use of GitHub, will be used during the implementation of the "UkrRIS-Danube" project.
